Welcome to the
Providing commercial and private advice on Ash trees across the UK and Ireland.
The ash tree is known as the Venus of the woods, and whether it is standing in spacious parkland or in an unkempt, November hedge, the ash’s curvy limbs stir powerful feelings in those who gaze on its graceful form.
Hymenoscyphus fraxineus is the sinister fungus that singles out this particular species. Formally called Chalara fraxinea, this infection can lead to the death of an Ash, and whilst young and coppiced trees may succumb relatively quickly, older trees are often able to resist for longer.
Our professional staff, led by a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Foresters, aim to assess both the immediate condition of any tree they examine as well as its potential for survival.
We will offer clear and understandable advice to put your mind at ease, and present a range of options from short term interventions to future alternatives and biodiversity enhancement programmes.
